IEP GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT
Once a student is found eligible for special education services, many meetings will be held. Some of these meetings will be to create or update the individual education plan or IEP. Having an experienced advocate to support you at each step in the process can ensure that your child receives all the necessary services and supports in the school setting.

Your advocate will meet with you in advance of any meeting to confirm that you understand the process and to answer any questions you may have about the IEP. Throughout the school year, your advocate can provide guidance and support for any meetings or conferences for your child, including parent-teacher conferences.
